レベル3土砂災害警報

Level 3 Warning (Landslide)

Red, Alert Level 3 equivalent: danger is rising. People who need time to evacuate (elderly, disabled, small children) should start evacuating; everyone else gets ready. Hazard: landslides, debris flows and slope collapses. The new Level 3 landslide warning is issued much less often than the old 大雨警報(土砂災害); when you see it, a Level 4 Urgent Warning is likely soon.

What to do now

  1. Elderly people and those who need help: evacuate now.
  2. Everyone else: check the hazard map, pack, and be ready to leave.
  3. Check KIKIKURU and your municipality's notices.
  4. Stay away from steep slopes, cliffs and valleys (streams coming out of mountains).
